About the Honda NS500 Grand Prix Racer '83 The Honda NS500 made a sensational debut in 1982 as the first Honda 2-stroke 500cc racer. Unique 3-cylinder engine layout allowed for a compact powerplant and the lowest center of gravity possible at the time. 499cc and 130hp engine helped the bike win 3 victories in 1982, and go on to capture 6 wins as well as the Championship & Maker's trophies in the ?83 season.
