The exterior of the Ferrari F1-2000 features exquisitely recreated curvatures, tried and tested in Ferrari's own wind tunnel. Tamiya's 1/20 scale recreation features the same intrepid shape, which encases the intricately designed 3-liter, V10 engine. Extensive wind tunnel testing was the prime ingredient in the sleek body design of the F1-2000. Tamiya's rendition captures the sleekness of the machine, with five pieces of removable rear cowling.
 
This model shows the complexity of the nose and upper arms. Solid rubber tires are complete with four-groove pattern and logo marks pre-printed on the sides.
 
The cockpit of the F1-2000 overflows with detail including the steering wheel, mirrors, car-mounted camera, and seat belts.
 
The "Type 049" V10 engine, its twisting exhaust pipes, and the other "guts" of the F1-2000 have also been recreated in high detail.
 

Diffuser, rear suspension, and rear wing all precisely recreated on the 1/20 assembly model kit.
